Project Overview

Mouseness is a robotic mice project and digital art research work developed in collaboration with DXARTS and showcased in May 2025. The project explores animal-like robotic behavior by modeling how mice react to perceived danger, particularly human presence. The robotic mice autonomously run, hide, and seek dark spaces while avoiding obstacles. Their behavior dynamically switches when a human is detected, aiming to mimic real mouse survival instincts and translate them into embodied robotic systems.
